How I work

When I'm photographing a wedding, usually it goes like this:

  • I am at the church before it all starts.
  • I shoot pictures of the groom who are waiting at the altar + captures the atmosphere
when guests arrives at the church
  • I wait outside the church and shoot some pictures when the bride arrives
  • Then go inside and sits in the middle of the church.
  • Shoot when the bride (and possibly her father) goes up the aisle.
  • And again when the bridal couple goes down the aisle.

Afterwards, there is a lot of great atmosphere to capture outside the church, where friends and family say congratulations and when they throw rice. And whatever else happens ....

Then we drive to the place where the wedding portraits are going to be made. The actual wedding-shoot is about one hour.

The following week you will receive a CD with all pictures from the church before and after the ceremony. There will be some in black/white and in color. They will all be ready for printing. So you can just hand over the CD at a photo trade, and you can get the pictures printed.

In addition, you get a contact sheet of around 20 to 30 different wedding portraits, where you can choose from, which you want in print.
